We are so glad you’re here! The Murwood PTA is a team of parents, guardians, teachers, and staff working together to support our kids and make Murwood an incredible place to learn and grow.
Everything we do—from supplying vital classroom resources to hosting community events—is designed to lift up our families and staff. We’re here to help you stay connected, backed up, and informed throughout the school year.

Complete Your Annual PTA Registration
Register your family info, sign the required student waiver (so your child can join in on PTA-sponsored events), and optionally purchase your PTA memberships or donate to the Annual Fund.

Fridays are Spirit Days at Murwood, and we encourage all students to wear their spirit wear to school! Show your school pride and grab your gear at the Mustang Merch Store via 1st Place Spirit Wear. Even better—10% of every purchase goes right back into funding PTA programs for our kids.

PTA Reimbursement Form
Here is how to submit your reimbursement via FutureFund BeeKeeper:
- Fill out details: Enter your contact info and describe your purchase or event.
- Murwood PTA Budget: Link the expense to your specific PTA budget category.
- Upload Receipts: Snap a clear photo and upload your digital receipt files.
- Submit your report.
Important Rules:
- 30 Days: Submit all receipts within 30 days of purchase.
- May 1: Final deadline for all submissions.

Volunteering at School:
- Classroom assistance: Help with activities, read to students, or assist with projects.
- School events: Volunteer at events like book fairs, fundraisers, or school dances.
- Library support: Help with shelving books or reading to students.
- Field trips: Accompany classes on educational outings.
Participating in School Organizations:
- Parent-Teacher Association (PTA): Attend meetings, participate in fundraising, and support school initiatives.
- School Site Council: Participate in decision-making processes. Requires a monthly time commitment for attending the council meeting.
Interested in Volunteering at Murwood? Walnut Creek School District volunteer requirements have changed. Under California's SB 868, school volunteers are now required to complete additional screening, including Mandated Reporter Training, TB risk assessments, and livescan backround checks under certain circumstances.
